The preparation of personal, partnership and trust returns together with tax computations and corresponding with the Revenue and dealing with any enquiries under the self assessment legislation.

  • Planning advice in respect of tax savings schemes, e.g. Enterprise Investment schemes etc

We are not authorised under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, but are able in certain circumstances to offer a limited range of investment services to clients because they are licensed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. We can provide these investment services to you, if these are incidental and /or complementary to, or arise out of, the other professional services we have been engaged to provide. For example:

a) we can advise on the tax consequences of making particular investments;
b) we can comment on advice given by an authorised person; and
c) we can give general investment advice, but cannot advise about a specific investment product.

We do have contact with local financial advisors and if requested will provide you with details of suitable advisors who are regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
